Online pseudocode editor PSeInt compatible
Write, run and debug your pseudocode algorithms right in the browser. No installs, no account, and the same syntax you already use in PSeInt.

What is PseudoIDE's online pseudocode editor?
PseudoIDE is an environment for writing and running pseudocode in Spanish and English, built for people learning programming logic with PSeInt who want to go one step further. The editor runs entirely in your browser and the interpreter runs on your own machine: your algorithms are never sent to a server. Open the page, write your algorithm and hit Run.
How to run pseudocode online in 3 steps
- 1
Write your algorithm
Use the syntax you already know: Algoritmo, Definir, Leer, Escribir, Si, Para, Mientras. The editor highlights keywords and warns you about mistakes as you type.
- 2
Hit Run
The interpreter parses the algorithm and prints the output to the console, including keyboard input prompts.
- 3
Check the trace table
Open the step-by-step trace to watch every variable change line by line and understand why your algorithm behaves the way it does.
Is it compatible with PSeInt?
Yes. PseudoIDE interprets classic PSeInt syntax — conditionals, loops, arrays, functions and subprocesses — and adds object-oriented programming with classes, inheritance and encapsulation. In most cases you can paste an algorithm written in PSeInt and run it here unchanged.
What you get in the online editor
Live flowcharts
Generate your algorithm's flowchart as you type, no manual drawing.
Step-by-step debugger
Run line by line and watch every variable value in real time.
Trace table
Produce a variable tracking table for your assignments and exams.
Themes and fonts
Pick from several light and dark themes and resize the editor.
Highlighting and autocomplete
Keyword suggestions and instant syntax error detection.
No install, no account
Works in any modern browser, including phones and tablets.
Frequently asked questions about PSeInt online
Can I use PSeInt online without installing anything?
Yes. PseudoIDE runs entirely in the browser: there is nothing to download or install and no account to create. If you later want to work with local folders and projects, you can download the desktop app.
Is the online pseudocode editor free?
Yes, it is free and has no paid tiers. Every editor tool is available at no cost.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. The interface adapts to small screens: the file explorer opens as a side panel and the editor takes the full width. It is handy for reviewing algorithms; for long coding sessions we recommend a larger screen or the desktop app.
Where are my algorithms stored?
On your own device. The interpreter runs in your browser and files are saved to local storage or to the folder you pick. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.
Can I open my PSeInt .psc files?
Yes. PseudoIDE uses the .psc and .pse extensions, so you can open your existing algorithms and keep working on them.
Is it good for learning to program from scratch?
That is exactly what it is for. Writing pseudocode lets you focus on logic — variables, conditions, loops and functions — without fighting a real language's syntax. Once you are comfortable, switching to any language is far easier.
Prefer to work outside the browser?
The desktop app adds project management, Git version control and every feature of the online editor, with your files always stored locally.
